Kingsley College has a new and exciting opportunity for a full-time Primary Teacher to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD, commencing in Term 1, 2026.
About the Opportunity
We are now inviting applications for the teaching position, commencing in 2026.
As our Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students, both in the classroom and through distance education in a permanent full-time capacity.
You will have in-person classes, as well as some distance education students, and you will be able to build rapport and connection with your students and bring complex concepts to life in an engaging way.
When you join our Primary School team, you will be part of a collaborative and connected unit of educators, and you will have the option to help run any extra-curriculars that interest you.
As a Primary Teacher, you will help students build strong foundations for future learning and support their transition into later school years.

About You
You will be passionate about educating young people and supporting their learning journey in the primary years.
You will have:
- A minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent
- Queensland Teacher’s Registration, or the ability to obtain
- High-level communication skills with staff, students, and families
- Strong digital literacy
Able to build rapport well, you will be passionate about engaging with students on an individual level, both in-person and virtually.
You will have the ability to implement the school’s Christian values and philosophy in the classroom and other aspects of College life to foster faith and deliver positive educational outcomes for students.
You will be comfortable serving students from a range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds: high achievers and those with learning difficulties. You will also be able to adapt your approach to each student's needs and explain concepts in a way they will understand.
